speak spanish colleziona un gruppo di danze locali, osservate dal tavolino di un ristorante per turisti in un luogo qualsiasi del pianeta. Ogni coreografia introduce sistemi dinamici 'propri', ma è anche una maniera grossolana di infierire sulle presenze corporee che li incarnano. Una sorta di sonoro stordimento, familiare a chi si lancia nel parlare una lingua straniera per un tempo considerevole. Dinamiche binarie, folklore hawaiano e attitudini da concerto rock: si tratta di un viaggio anonimo, dal quale è bandita ogni avventura, se si eccettua il brivido della prenotazione.

mk è una formazione indipendente che si occupa di performance, coreografia e ricerca sonora. Il progetto del gruppo si è sviluppato a partire dal 1999 attraversando i più importanti festival della nuova scena. Tra le produzioni recenti: Tourism commissionato da La Biennale di Venezia, Wasted per F.I.S.Co.08 e Comfort, ospitato ultimamente dall'Indonesian Dance Festival e dallo Sparks Festival di Minneapolis.
